Event description:

According to a survey by IBM of 1500 CEOs, the number-one attribute they are looking for in employees is creativity. This 2-hour lunch seminar will be led by Dr. Ralph Kerle on Creative Leadership in the Finance Team.

Creative leadership encourages, captures, cultivates and implements atypical, imaginative solutions and strategies to produce uncommon results that ignite and redefine an organization.

The findings of a 2010 global study by IBM’s Institute of Business Value found that leaders who embody these attributes and embrace the dynamic tension between creative disruption and operational efficiency can create new models of extraordinary value.

Today this is more relevant than ever as organisations need to develop new and innovative solutions to thrive during disruption.

Join us at this tailored FEI Sydney seminar with Dr Ralph Kerle to find out:

  • How creativity got a bad name in the finance team
  • What is creative leadership and why it is important
  • How creativity relates to and feeds innovation

Named by IBM as one of the world's 100 Global Creative Leaders, Dr Ralph Kerle is a Global Thought Leader passionate about using the power of creative insights to bring about change and innovation in organizations. He includes amongst his clients top 500 global companies and has designed and delivered senior executive creative leadership and innovation programmes across all four continents.

He is the designer of the Management Innovation Index, a unique analytic that benchmarks and measures organizational innovation; the Founder/Moderator of the Creative Skills Training Council, an internationally recognized community of organizational creative practitioners and academics and a former International Board Member of the US Creative Education Foundation. He is a Leader in the US Creative Problem Solving Institute; a Fellow of the US-based think tank, the Center for Cultural Studies & Analysis and has been faculty adjunct in the Banff Centre Leadership Development Programme, Banff, Canada as Innovation Coach.
