Event description:

Dr Charles Day is the recently appointed head of OISA, the government's advisory board on innovation and science and he is talking to FEI in March about the role of business—and in particular finance teams—when it comes to driving innovation at a national, industry and company level.

Dr Days sees business as a key stakeholder in creating sustainable innovation and will challenge FEI's finance audience as to what they can do to meet this challenge.

Join us at this thought-provoking lunch to find out:

  • What the OISA's recommendations for a collaboration premium in the R&D Tax Incentive program could mean for how your company better partners with academic and industry research opportunities.
  • How finance teams can better navigate the balance between risk minimisation and risk opportunity.
  • How leading companies are developing new ways of supporting innovation and the on-going debate as to insource or outsource innovation hubs.
